Research mockup

Research mockup only. Layout and research shell from the Health Case (Yokota SOFA Medical Access) — not a care directory, not medical advice, not a verified insurance network. Demo pins only. Back to the care map.

About the English-capable care map

This map is a research mockup on The Beckoning Cat. It’s for people PCS’ing into Yokota / Kanto under SOFA, and for Yokota employers who want a clear look at a gap their civilian and contractor workforce hits after they arrive.

Finding a host-nation clinic that can work in English — and then booking an appointment — takes longer than most newcomers expect. Tips live in Facebook threads, neighbor recommendations, and half-finished lists. There hasn’t been an easy place to filter by specialty, language, or location.

SOFA civilians and contractors usually don’t get the same routine access to MTFs like the 374th Medical Group that active-duty members do. For a lot of households, Japanese clinics are the day-to-day path for dental, primary care, and specialties. That’s the gap this map is built to study.

Research mockup only — not medical advice, not a finished directory. Pins are approximate. Confirm hours, language, and insurance with the provider before you go.
