The whole game is about signaling nicely to merge into traffic so you can go home for the day.
Score 5,000 to win, or drop to −2,500 and lose driving privileges. You’re leaving a fictional East Gate. Left-side driving. No traffic light! No Kōtsū Yūdō Keibiin (交通誘導警備員) anywhere in sight! It’s all up to you to get home safely. Signal, wait for a gap, merge. You get extra points for being Culturally Courteous. Of course, if you hit something, that’s not good. Keep playing till you win or lose.
After a merge, flash your hazards to thank a driver who actually let you in. Skip it and you lose points. A slow turn onto the main road with hazards is a thank-you. Being “rude” and driving too fast will cost you points.
